Delete your Yumclip account
This page is a translation. If it differs from the French version, the French version prevails.
Updated: 22 October 2026
This page explains how to delete your account in the Yumclip app, published by DEV PIXEL, and what is erased.
Before you start: your Yumclip Plus subscription
Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. The store keeps billing it. Cancel it first:
- in the app: My account › Cancel my subscription;
- or in your Apple account settings (Subscriptions) or in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions).
Need help? Write to [email protected].
In the app
- Open Yumclip and go to My account.
- Tap My data, then Delete my account.
- Confirm.
It is immediate. The app signs out and also erases what it kept on your phone for this account.
Without the app
Write to [email protected] from your account’s e-mail address, with the subject “Delete my account”. We delete your account within one month at most and reply to you when it is done.
If you cannot write from your account’s address (for example, an address hidden by Apple), write to us anyway: we will ask you for something that proves the account is yours. A guest account, created without signing in, is not linked to any address: delete it from the app.
What is erased
Immediately, from our server:
- your sign-in account (e-mail, first name, identifier);
- your recipes and their images, your favourites and collections;
- your planner and your shopping list;
- your nutrition guide;
- your help requests and your error reports;
- your notification tokens and your settings;
- your import counters and your subscription history.
If you signed in with Apple, the app also removes Yumclip’s access to your Apple ID.
What remains, and for how long
| What | How long |
|---|---|
| The backup copies of our database | Erased within 15 days at most |
| The messages the store sends us about a subscription that is still running, not linked to an account | 90 days |
| Statistics and crash reports, if they were accepted: never linked to your account | 2 months (statistics), 90 days (crashes) |
| Recipes drawn from public videos, without anything that concerns you | They may be reused for other people |
| The server’s technical logs (including IP addresses) | No period set yet |
| Your purchase receipts | With Apple or Google, under their rules |
Erasing only part of it
Without deleting your account, you can:
- delete a recipe (erased immediately);
- erase your nutrition guide: My account › My data › Erase my guide;
- turn off statistics and crash reports: My account › Privacy;
- stop sending your diets: untick the box in My habits;
- take your recipes with you: My account › My data › Export my recipes.
All the details: privacy policy.
