Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
This page is a translation. If it differs from the French version, the version more favourable to you applies.
Updated: 23 October 2026
This policy applies to consumers under Washington’s My Health My Data Act (chapter 19.373 of the Revised Code of Washington): residents of Washington State, and anyone whose health data is collected there. It is published by DEV PIXEL, SARL, 6 rue d’Armaille, 75017 Paris, France, publisher of the Yumclip app.
1. The consumer health data we collect, and why
- What you eat (your diets: “Gluten-free”, “Lactose-free”, “Vegetarian”…).
- On your phone, the app uses them to flag a recipe that doesn’t suit you and to pick your meals. Without your consent, they do not leave it.
- With your consent (a box to tick, during setup or in My account › My habits), they go with your requests so that the recipe ideas on Home and “Another version” suit you. Our server does not keep them; the version offered, if you don’t keep it, is deleted after 24 hours. Our artificial intelligence provider, which writes “Another version”, deletes them within 30 days, or within 2 years for content flagged by its safety checks (whose score it keeps for up to 7 years).
- The diets you pick in a catalog search: they go with that search, are used only to run it, and are not kept.
- Your nutrition guide (Yumclip Plus, optional), only with its own consent: your year of birth, sex, height, weight, activity, number of training sessions a week and their days, goal, the share of the day a meal stands for, or the calories and protein you type in yourself; and the version and date of your consent. On your phone, the app works out your guide from them (the energy and protein for your meals) and compares it with the meals in your planner; our server keeps them, encrypted, to give them back to you on another phone, until you erase them or delete your account, or for 12 months after Plus ends. Their values never go to the artificial intelligence, nor into our statistics.
We draw no other information about your health from them.
2. Where they come from
From you only: what you choose or type in the app.
3. The consumer health data we share
None. We neither share nor sell your health data. Only our processors, bound by contract, process them for us, to provide the service: OVH SAS, our host (server in London, United Kingdom), for the encrypted guide and the requests that carry your diets; Anthropic, our artificial intelligence provider (United States), for your diets sent with “Another version”.
4. The third parties and affiliates we share them with
None.
5. Your rights, and how to exercise them
- Know and access: ask us whether we collect, share or sell your health data, and for a copy. You can also see your guide and your answers in the app, My account › My data.
- Withdraw your consent: for your diets, untick the box in My account › My habits: they are no longer sent; to remove them from your phone too, untick them. For your guide, “Erase my guide”, in My account › My data: it is erased at once. What has already gone is deleted within the periods of section 1.
- Delete: “Erase my guide”, or “Delete my account” in My account › My data. Everything is erased from our server immediately, then from our backups after about 15 days. We notify our processors of your request; our artificial intelligence provider receives nothing that identifies you, and deletes what it received within the periods of section 1.
- By e-mail: write to [email protected], from your account’s address if you have one. You do not need to create an account. We may ask you to prove that the account is yours.
- Timing: we reply within 45 days. If we need more time, we tell you within those 45 days, with the reason, and reply at the latest 90 days after your request. Your requests are free.
- Appeal: if we refuse, reply “Appeal” to our answer, or write it to [email protected]. We answer you in writing within 45 days, with our reasons. If we maintain the refusal, you can contact the Washington State Attorney General: atg.wa.gov/file-complaint.
